Welcome to Rao Bewa

Rao Bewa, which means "medicine song" in the Shipibo language, is a sanctuary for deep healing and spiritual renewal. Founded and guided by Ytala Chacón, who was trained in the Shipibo-Konibo tradition of the Peruvian Amazon, this sacred space offers transformative experiences based on the wisdom of ancestral plant medicine.

Located on the north shore of O'ahu, Rao Bewa connects the healing energy of the Amazon rainforest with the spirit of the Hawaiian Islands. It is a place where body, mind, and spirit can reunite in harmony, where ancestral practices merge with modern life that needs restoration and connection.
